Thanks for booking your session with Christie Caiola!

Below you will find everything you need to know before your session.

Some suggestions for the day of:

Come to the studio in loose fitting clothing so it doesn’t leave any indentation lines on your skin (no jeans, no tight socks, leggings, etc).

Come with a fresh, clean and moisturized face (absolutely no makeup) and clean, dry hair.
Drink plenty of water leading up to the shoot day!
Skip the spray tan and embrace your skin's natural color.
Be sure to be thorough on whatever hair removal methods you typically use (shaving, wax, etc) and whatever makes you feel your most confident.
Treat yourself to a fresh mani/pedi (or DIY). If you don’t want to have polish on your nails, at the very least be sure to remove chipping colors and file them so they’re neat and all the same length. I suggest choosing timeless colors (neon yellow may not be a color you will love to look back on in your photos).
Schedule any hair appointments beforehand for a fresh cut and color touch up if it’s needed.
Have final payment ready (cash, credit card, check).

WHAT TO PACK

Plain colored t shirts/tank tops
Blazers, jackets, etc.
Button up (white)
A pair of loose NON-MATERNITY jeans
A variety of body suits
Assortment of bra/panty matches

NOTE: A variety of panties including simple, sporty, and lacy as well as different cuts including thong, boy short, etc. A variety of colors ranging from black, nude, white and color etc.

Feel free to also get inspired by texture, satin shirts, fluffy sweaters, scarves, etc. Honestly when it comes to wardrobe, more is MORE. If you’re not sure, bring it.

Use the Pinterest board as further inspiration to guide your wardrobe choices. If you see an image you love and she’s in a matching Calvin Klein set, bring a matching Calvin Klein set. If she’s in a white button up, blazer, unbuttoned jeans— bring it.

A note from me, your photographer

So you did it! You made the commitment to book a photo session for yourself. Right now I bet you’re a little excited, possibly a little nervous, and maybe a little bit unsure of what to expect.

What I want you to focus on is shedding the expectations. Release the idea that you think you know how you will feel and look and let the insecurities melt away. This is about you, exactly as you are; a woman worth celebrating. Trust in the process. When you’re here, let the light dance on your features as I guide you every step of the way, putting your fears and insecurities to rest. Practice not asking yourself if you look silly, if you’re doing it right, or if the pictures look any good.

Enjoy the moment in the present and embrace the woman inside you that has the audacity to boldly proclaim her femininity- the soft, the strong and everything in between.
